Health, Safety & Environment

Safety is Non-Negotiable

At ST Global Inc, every operation — from a single truck movement to a full mine site mobilisation — is governed by rigorous safety standards. We protect our people, our clients, and the communities we work in.

01

Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA)

All work areas are assessed before operations begin. Hazards are identified, rated, and controlled using a formal HIRA process aligned to international mining standards.

02

Lock-Out / Tag-Out (LOTO)

Strict energy isolation procedures are enforced on all equipment maintenance and repair activities to prevent accidental start-up and protect technicians.

03

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Full PPE — hard hats, high-visibility vests, steel-toe boots, gloves, and eye protection — is mandatory for all personnel on every site, every shift.

04

Fatigue & Fitness for Duty

Drivers and operators are subject to pre-shift fitness checks. Maximum driving hours, mandatory rest periods, and fatigue monitoring protocols are strictly enforced.

05

Collision Avoidance & Traffic Management

Dedicated traffic management plans govern all mine site vehicle movements. Pedestrian exclusion zones, speed limits, and spotter protocols are enforced at all times.

06

Emergency Response Planning

Every site operates with a documented Emergency Response Plan (ERP) covering fire, medical, spill, and evacuation scenarios. All personnel are briefed on emergency procedures.

07

Environmental Protection

Spill prevention, waste management, and dust suppression measures are integrated into all operations to minimise environmental impact and comply with host country regulations.

08

Incident Reporting & Investigation

All incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions are reported, investigated, and closed out using root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
